Qualifications: The Manager Business Logistics position located in Richardson, TX, is responsible for supporting the LRES business which includes parts and equipment distribution. The position will manage daily deployment of inventory from suppliers and plants through the warehouse network to customers.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following;

Will manage and maintain optimal stocking levels for the LRES parts & supplies business, with a background working in a high volume, seasonal environment.
Will manage a team of buyers to ensure accurate and timely purchases . Lead the inventory buyer team and provide training and guidance.
Ensure accurate compliance of negotiated terms with Vendor/Supplier network.
Review processes to minimize errors and maximize purchasing spend.
Ensure buyers are able to properly expedite purchases.
Primary performance metrics for this role are customers fill rates, P.O, aging, and inventory turns. Develop metrics for performance tracking by supplier and buyer.
Prior experience using demand planning, and inventory optimization tools, as well as advanced supply chain tools

Duties: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics with at least 5+ years of supply chain experience and at least 5+ years of prior supervisory experience. Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:

SAP with detailed knowledge of of Logistics preferred.
Knowledge of demand planning processes and forecasting tools
Prior background in either 'direct to store' or 'direct to technician/contractor' supply chains preferred
Excellent computer skills (Access/Excel) and analysis (Spend analysis, vendor performance and other reports as needed.)
Ability to take complex situations and synthesize data to provide clarity for the department and parts and supply business that it supports.
Timely reporting and communication to the Sr Manager of Supply Planning.
